Joseph

Joseph is 11 years old and dances at VA Performing Arts in Hartlepool @vaperformingarts Joseph started dancing in 2018 and recently rose to fame on BBC1’s The Greatest Dancer where he came runner up with his partner Lily! His favourite style of dance is lyrical and jazz and he’s won champion titles in modern, song and lyrical – what a star he is!

Rakel – International Brand Rep

Rakel Osk is 14 years old and from Iceland.

She trains at Listdansskoli Islands and also travels regularly to the UK for more training.

Rakel started focusing on dance about 2 years ago but is a former team gymnast.

Her favourite dance styles are acro, contemporary and lyrical. Rakel is also an Ambassador for Acrotrix. She started competing in dance last year and this year she will compete at the finals for Dance World Cup, Global Dance Open and Destination Dance as a dance idol.

Eva

Eva is 10 years old and has danced at  @cheshuntdanceschool since the age of 2 1/2. She studies all genres of dance, including acro and musical theatre and loves them all! Eva will be representing Team England at the Dance World Cup 2021 as a soloist and in group dances. She has just been accepted as the youngest ‘In Company‘ member @hamiltiontrainingacademy after auditioning in October. Well done Eva!

Max

Max is 14 and has danced since he was 6 years old. He started his training at the Lauren Anderson Academy of Dance and moved to Val Armstrong Performing Arts in 2019 @vaperformingarts

Max has had a very successful competition history and has won various TDCI titles in song and dance, tap and modern. Max was selected to represent Team England in the 2020 Dance World Cup, performing solos, duets and group dances. Mac loves to be on stage and had perform in various local pantomimes over the years.

Max has also been nominated for the ‘Young Performer of the Year’ award at the Best of South Tyneside Awards which is due to be held this month, he has also been invited to perform at this awards ceremony.

Max loves all genres of dance but his favourites are contemporary and Acro.

Beau

Beaut is 13 and trains at Hasland Dance Studio in Kent @hasland_dance_studios

Beau has been dancing and performing since he was 6 years old. His Commercial Dance Team are the current Dance World Cup champions in the children’s small group category. He is also representing team England again this year. He has several awards from Street Dance Comps nationally and internationally (UDO, SOAR, NSC, IDO). He also competes in Modern very successfully and recently qualified for all England regionals with his Song and Dance. He dances with The Phoenix Boys, Premiere Scholars and Tring school boys Kickstart Associates, as well as training with Stagebox as an elite Junior in London.

Beau loves Commercial and Street dance but he also equally loves modern and lyrical styles, as well as MT. He also does ballet and tap so a bit of an all-rounder!

Skye

Skye is 15 and trains at Samantha Jane Dance Company @samanthajanedancecompany

Skye trains in Jazz, Contemporary, Acro, Ballet, Commercial, Lyrical and Musical Theatre. She’s danced for the past 3 1/2 years and her absolute favourite style is contemporary. She is an Ambassador for Lisa K Photography which she loves and is currently performing in Beauty and the Beast Panto @towngatetheatre. She also feels extremely lucky to have a place at Performers College on the Elite Program.

Skye is now in her second year at Stage Box’s kid’s London and is part of Borthwick Casting Agency.

Abby

Abby is 11 years old and dances at @moghimianarts

Abby first started dancing at 6 years old in Ballet and Tap, then later on added other styles such as Jazz, Lyrical, Acrobatics and Commercial. Right now she really loves Ballet and Jazz Tech and also loves singing and acting.

As well as training at her dance studio, Abby attends Mission Inspire and has a place as a Junior Associate in Scottish Ballet’s Associate programme. In 2021/2022, Abby toured with the company in their production of The Nutcracker, where she played Clara.

Abby has recently finished filming a new movie that is set to be released in the near future and is about to begin recording for a popular animation series that she is really looking forward to.

Abby is also works with @hollyfrancescaphotography as an HFP girl.

Sisi – International Brand Rep

Sisi is 10 years old. She started dancing when she was 3 years old at @diverseperformingartsschool where she now trains 20 hours a week in all styles. Including her favourites – Jazz, commercial, acro, lyrical and musical theatre. Sisi LIVES to be on stage!

Sienna

Sienna is 9 years old and she trains @valestudios_ and has been dancing since she was 3 years old (she is also a gymnast at @rvacrobatic)

Sienna is a versatile dancer and loves all disciplines of dance but her favourites are acro, jazz, lyrical, ballet & commercial. Sienna wants to be a professional dancer!

She is currently in Year 5 at Elmhurst Ballet young dancers and is also a junior associate in the ESBB ballet programme. Some recent achievements include: TDCI Merseyside Juvenile Modern Champion and last month coming runner up in the Scottish Ballet Youth Grand Prix gaining overall 2nd place in the competition.

Ruby

Ruby is 13 years old and attends VA Performing Arts @vaperformingarts

Ruby has danced since the age of 5. She attended Hunter Theatre Arts till the age of 11 then moved to VA. Ruby is a Championship dancer, she is a Junior TDCI British modern finalist 2022, TDCI Junior Modern and Tap Champion and has made finals in other genres.

She is Allied Scholarship winner for 2 years in a row and has just recently won the NCDTA Junior Modern Scholarship.

For the past 5 years she has been in a professional pantomime with Enchanted Entertainment as a dancer at Newcastle Tyne Theatre.

Ruby’s loves all genres of dance but her favourite styles are Contemporary/Lyrical and Acro.

  3. Dancers who appear to exude confidence and who will take our photoshoots in their stride
  4. Dancers who we believe will be dedicated to our brand and who will help us advertise Squad at events and on social media
  5. Don’t forget dancers who engage with our brand will always stand out! Those who comment, like and/or share our Social Media posts.  Those who actively purchase Squad and come and see us at events – we always remember our Squad fans!
