Ambassadors

Erin

Erin is a little pocket rocket and has bags of talent! Erin dances at Jordan School of Dance in Birmingham @jordondance and absolutely loves jazz, contemporary and ballet. She is an Elmhurst Junior Associate, a World Champ Soloist and has won many titles such Jnr Miss Starpower and Jnr Miss Destination Dance. Erin has achieved so much and has great future ahead of her. Erin has been a Squad Ambassador for a long time now and is a really important part of our team.

Lexi

Lexi is 9 years old and attends the Phelan School of Dance in Edinburgh @phelanschooledinburgh where she’s danced since the age of 2.
She loves all styles of dance but her absolute favourites are lyrical, tap and musical theatre. Lexi performed in the Dance World Cup for the last 2 years coming home with 5 World medals!! She’ll also be competing with two solos in this year’s World Cup and will be competing in the premier highland World Championships too! Amazing!

Maeia

Maeia is 14 years old and has been dancing at The Samantha Brisbane School of Dance @brisbaneschoolofdance for 10 years. Her absolute favourite style of dance is contemporary. She competes regularly in National competitions but will always remember coming 7th place with her jazz team in The Dance Worlds 2018 in Florida!

Rory

Rory is 18 years old and trained at Edinburgh Dance Academy @edinburghdanceacademy and is currently training at Laine Theatre Arts @lainetheatreart His favourite genre of dance is contemporary and commercial. One of his greatest achievements was to win a Gold medal at the Dance World Cup in 2018. Rory’s ambition is to have a career in West End and we’re sure he’ll be snapped up just as soon as he finishes college. Rory also co-designed our incredibly popular Rory MacLeod boys range.

Grace

Grace is 15 years old and has been dancing since she was 2 at Edinburgh Dance Academy @edinburghdanceacademy She loves all styles of dance but especially contemporary and jazz. Her contemporary and jazz solos made it through to the Dance World Cup 2018 and even though she was one of the youngest in her section, she achieved 6th place! An amazing achievement!

Maddie

Maddie is 12 years old and dances for Barbara Jacksons School of Dance @barbara_jacksons She’s been dancing since she was 2 years old and her favourite style is lyrical. She was lucky enough to perform in Matilda the Musical.

Finn

Finn is 12 years old and dances for @edinburghdanceacademy. He has been dancing for 3 years and enjoys contemporary and commercial. Finn was thrilled to have been awarded a Pineapple London Summer School Scholarship.

Becca

Becca is 9 years old and dances for Leanne Hughes Theatre School @leannehughestheatreschool She’s been dancing for the last 6 years and loves contemporary, jazz and commercial. She placed 3rd at the All England dance finals with her modern solo and is about to perform in the Pantomime Peter Pan!

Bella

Bella is 12 years old and dances at @danceconnection1. She started dancing 9 years ago and now excels in all dance styles although her absolute favourite is ballet and contemporary. Bella took part in the Royal Ballet Summer School recently and loves competing with her competition squad.

Lila

Lila is 10 years old and has danced with Julie Young Dance Studios since she was 2 and half years old. She loves ballet and recently became the TDCI Central @Scotland Juvenile Ballet Champ. Lila is also a Junior Associate of Scottish ballet and a member of Stagebox London.

Lilly

Lilly is 14 years old and dances with Val Armstrong Performing Arts @vakidzuk She’s danced since she was 2 years old and loves jazz and acro! Lily won Gold 5 times at the dance World Cup last year and was part of the Billy Elliot UK, Ireland and Germany tour.

Leah

Leah is 14 years old and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She dances at Carmichaels School of Dance and loves all dance genres, especially contemporary and acro. This year Leah was awarded Can You Dance? Senior Dancer of the year, an amazing achievement!

Marley

Marley is 11 years old and dances for Angela Beardmore School of Dance.  She has been dancing since she was 2 years old and her favourite styles are hip hop, commercial and lyrical.

Marley played Lavender in Matilda in the West End and regularly competes with her dance school.

Billy

Billy is 14 years old and dances for @phoenixdancecompanyuk
He has been dancing for 5 years and his favourite style of dance is acro and modern.
One of Billy’s greatest achievements was when he won Choice Dancer at Can You Dance!

Joseph

Joseph is 9 years old and dances at VA Performing Arts in Hartlepool @vaperformingarts Joseph started dancing in 2018 and recently rose to fame on BBC1’s The Greatest Dancer where he came runner up with his partner Lily! His favourite style of dance is lyrical and jazz and he’s won champion titles in modern, song and lyrical – what a star he is!

HOW TO BECOME A SQUAD AMBASSADOR

We hold a yearly search for Ambassadors – it usually takes place around October time so please keep an eye out on our Social Media accounts for announcements.  We will post full entry rules at the time.  Don’t miss out – make sure you follow us on Facebook and Instagram @squaddancewear

What we look for in our Ambassadors;

  1. Girls and boys who have a real passion for dance
  2. Dancers who demonstrate their love for dance by having an active social media account full of posts about their dance life
  3. Dancers who appear to exude confidence and who will take our photoshoots in their stride
  4. Dancers who we believe will be dedicated to our brand and who will help us advertise Squad at events and on social media
  5. Don’t forget dancers who engage with our brand will always stand out! Those who comment, like and/or share our Social Media posts.  Those who actively purchase Squad and come and see us at events – we always remember our Squad fans!

In return our Ambassadors will benefit from;
